A Beautiful Collision

I said earlier that Jackson got to go meet Mo Willems this weekend. He though it was awesome!!! Mo was in town to promote his new book "Naked Mole Rat Gets Dressed", and while he was at the library he read some other books and did a short Q & A before the book signing. Jackson was super excited that out of all of the kids who had questions, he got called on! Jackson's question..."What inspired you to write your new book?". Mo's answer "no one had written a book about a naked mole rat, so now I kinda own them". I was very proud of Jackson's question and he was just so excited that he got to ask it! The library had about 250 people more than they had expected so things were crazy crowded. After making a 'pigeon' hat and reading some other books, we finally got in line to meet Mo Willems. Jackson didn't get to talk to him much because the lady in front of us in line WOULDN'T SHUT UP and with so many people they were herding us through like cattle, but Jackson didn't even seem to notice, so I didn't make a big deal out of it. Also, I had my 3 hour glucose test yesterday and will hopefully have the results tomorrow. The fasting and the whole experience itself made me pretty sick, so I was in bed yesterday until about 3. Thankfully Jackson was with my mom and my husband was so worried about me that he didn't dare expect me to get up. Pray good thoughts everyone that this is the last of the glucose testing!
